🚀 Web App Release Notes – Version 3.3.0

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Release Date: December 23, 2025

Overview

This release introduces Scheduled Search, giving users a new way to receive recurring insights automatically, along with several improvements that strengthen access control, analytics accuracy, and overall platform reliability.

Users can now subscribe to weekly search reports directly from the Retailer App and manage those subscriptions from their profile. We’ve also tightened permissions around sensitive resources and improved how location access is enforced across analytics views.

✨ New Features

Scheduled Search

Scheduled Search allows you to turn any search you run in the Retailer App into a recurring weekly email report, so key insights come to you automatically — no need to rerun the same search every week.

How it works

1. Run a search
Start by running a search in the Retailer App, just like you do today.
You can refine the results using filters such as locations, recorders, and sentiments.

2. Subscribe to the report
Once you’re happy with the results, click Subscribe to Report.

You’ll be asked to:

  • Enter a report title (required)

  • Optionally add a description

  • Select a delivery day (reports are sent weekly)

  • Choose a delivery time and time zone

3. Receive the weekly email
Each week, you’ll receive an email that reflects your search results for that reporting period.

The email includes:

  • A shortened version of the search query

  • Up to 5 bullet points per topic

  • Up to 2 interaction links per bullet point

Clicking an interaction link will open the interaction in the Retailer App → Search Page.
If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be prompted to sign in before accessing the interaction.

The email also includes two action buttons:

See Full Results
Located at the bottom of the email. You may need to scroll down or click “View entire message” in your email to see it.
This action opens the full search results in the Retailer App, exactly as they appear in the Search page.

Manage
Located in the top-right corner of the email, just below the summary.
This action takes you directly to My Profile → Search Subscriptions, where you can manage, update, or disable the scheduled search.

4. Manage your subscriptions
All scheduled searches can be managed from My Profile → Search Subscriptions.

From here, you can via the cogwheel icon:

  • Update the filters used by the report

  • Change delivery timing

  • Disable or delete the subscription

The original search query remains fixed to preserve report consistency.

Why this matters

Scheduled Search makes it easier to keep track of recurring questions and trends — such as employee sentiment, customer friction, or operational issues — without extra manual effort.

Notes

  • Scheduled Search reports are weekly only

  • Email access to audio requires an active login

🔧 Improvements

🔐 Improved Permissions for Devices and Locations

Editing and deleting Locations and Recorders is now restricted to Instore.AI Internal users only.
This reduces the risk of accidental changes while keeping visibility available to other users.

🏪 Chain Filtering in Events Dashboard

A new Chain filter has been added to the Events dashboard, making it easier for multi-chain customers to focus on specific retail groups.
