The deployment process for InStore.ai devices is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly. This guide will walk you through each step, from installing the mobile app to setting up the device and securing it in place. Following these steps will ensure a smooth installation and optimal performance of your InStore.ai system.

Steps:

  1. Install the InStore.ai app on your iOS or Android mobile device.

  2. Open the app and click the + icon to add a device.

  3. Scan the QR code on the edge device using your mobile phone when prompted in the app.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select the location, recorder type, and provide a recorder name.

  5. Place the microphone according to the best practices outlined in the Microphone Placement section.

  6. Ensure that the cords are positioned correctly:

    • Mic to edge device.

    • Edge device to power source.

  7. Connect the mic to the edge device first, then plug the edge device into the power source.

  8. Set up network connectivity using either:

    • Ethernet: Plug into the designated Ethernet port.

    • WiFi: Follow the steps outlined in the Edge Device Placement section.

  9. Once the device is online via the mobile app, secure the mic and device in their final locations.
