The deployment process for InStore.ai devices is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly. This guide will walk you through each step, from installing the mobile app to setting up the device and securing it in place. Following these steps will ensure a smooth installation and optimal performance of your InStore.ai system.
Steps:
Install the InStore.ai app on your iOS or Android mobile device.
Open the app and click the + icon to add a device.
Scan the QR code on the edge device using your mobile phone when prompted in the app.
Follow the on-screen instructions to select the location, recorder type, and provide a recorder name.
Place the microphone according to the best practices outlined in the Microphone Placement section.
Ensure that the cords are positioned correctly:
Mic to edge device.
Edge device to power source.
Connect the mic to the edge device first, then plug the edge device into the power source.
Set up network connectivity using either:
Ethernet: Plug into the designated Ethernet port.
WiFi: Follow the steps outlined in the Edge Device Placement section.
Once the device is online via the mobile app, secure the mic and device in their final locations.
